Passive Magnetic Rotary Speed Sensors

Control and protection circuits have relied on variable reluctance technology for many years.  With few components and no moving parts, the  passive speed sensor can operate reliably in adverse temperature, shock and vibration conditions.  The advantages of these AI-TEK speed sensors are:

Bi-Directional, Dual Channel, Zero-Velocity Speed Sensors   

This AI-TEK  family of sensors provides bi-directional and near zero-velocity speed sensors provides two independent frequency outputs to indicate change in direction of the sensed, rotating target.

AI-TEK Hall Effect Rotary Speed Sensors   TS

The AI-TEK Hall Effect speed sensor can sense each change in target movement, regardless of speed, from near zero to 15 kHz frequency range, generating a steady pulse train of frequency proportional to target speed.  Key features of these speed sensors include:

Reverse voltage protection
Higher temperature range of -40C to +125C
Wide range of supply voltage 4.5 - 24 VDC
Two output options - supply tracking or TTL
Rugged design meeting IEC 77 standards
