Overview
The GO Switch Model 7G leverless limit switche offers unique options such as hermetic seal
and Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) contact arrangements. Its solid stainless steel
construction and global certifications make it the ideal choice for a variety of applications. As
with all GO Switches, it can be wired AC or DC, N/O or N/C. It consumes no power to operate,
so it has no current leakage or voltage drop.
The GO Switch Model 7G offers SPDT or DPDT 4A contacts and a quick disconnect connector. Ideal for intrinsically safe environments. It is suitable for Div. 1 & 2 explosion-proof / flameproof applications, and can withstand temperatures up to 204°C.
Mechanically, Model 7G has no external moving parts, no springs or cams, and no reed element, so there is nothing to wear or fail. Its contact chamber is potted and sealed from moisture or contaminants and is completely protected in a one-piece stainless steel housing, including the sensing face. Unlike magnetic reed switches, it is not susceptible to contact teasing, chatter, bounce, or welding.
Electrically, Model 7G delivers the most flexibility in the industry. Its environmentally sealed dry contacts are rated 4amp/120VAC, 1amp/24VDC, and .5amp/120VDC and is suitable for both high and low electrical loads. The 7G can be wired AC or DC, N/O or N/C, consume no power to operate, and have no current leakage or voltage drop.
Environmentally, Model 7G leads the industry with global certifications for use in flame proof,explosion proof, non-incendive, intrinsically safe, and general purpose applications. In addition, Model 7G is suitable for extreme temperatures (-40°C to 204°C), extreme pressures (up to 10,000 psi).
