German
German is the national  language of the Germany.  German belongs to the Netherlands-German group within the western branch of the Germanic languages, a subfamily of the Indo-European languages. It comprises two main groups of dialects, High German (including standard literary German) and Low German. 

There are 75,000,000 speakers in Germany and 125,000,000 world wide.  It is spoken in varying degrees in; Russian, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Hungary, Kyrghystan, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, South Africa, Chile, Ecuador, Australia, Namibia, Moldova, UAR, Uzbekistan, Luxembourg, Tajikistan, Finland & France.
