Ikiribati
Ikiribati (Kiribati( is the national
language of the Republic of Kiribati. This is a small island republic in
the middle of the Pacific, with a population of about 70,000 Micronesians.
Their Austronesian based language is spoken by most residents, although most
also speak English. Some speakers are also found in the Solomon Islands,
Nauru, Fiji and other islands.
