Iroquois
Iroquois is NOT a language, but a
group of languages. The Iroquois Confederacy is a group of five native
American nations located in Central and Western New York state and in Southern
Canada. Found this phrase on internet and must say I do not know which of
the five nations this comes from. Would appreciate input. It is
estimated that there are less than 50,000 speakers of the five different
languages.
