Khasi
Khasi is an Austro-Asiatic language which is believed to be one of the few surviving dialects of the Mon-Khmer family of languages, in India.  It is spoken by about 800,000 in India and another 100,000 in Bangladesh.  The language is spoken primarily in the Meghalaya state, which is bordered by Assam in the north and Bangladesh in the south.
