Mongolian is the language of most of the population of Mongolia and
also of Inner Mongolia and of separate groups living in several other provinces
and regions of China and the Russian Federation. By origin, it is one of the
languages of the Mongolian group of the Altaic family.
There are approximately 5,000,000 speakers in all countries.
