Rheto-Romance
Rheto-Romance (Raeto Romance or
Romansh) is a Swiss language of Indo-European origin. It is spoken
enthusiastically at a regional level, less so at a canton level, and hardly at
all at a federal level. There are about 40,000 speakers in Switzerland
. It is one of the national languages of the country.
