Tshiluba
Tshiluba (Luba-Kasai) is one of the
four official languages of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The
others are; Swahili, Kikongo and French. This native language is of
Niger-Congo origin and spoken by over 6,000,000 of the nearly 50,000,000 of the
country formerly known as Zaire. There are more than 400 dialects spoken
in this country, which is the third largest in Africa.
