Ukrainian
Ukrainian is the national language of The Ukraine.  It is an East Slavic language which was developed from the colloquial language of the 17th and 18th centuries.  It is written with the Crylic alphabet.  It shares some traits with Belarusian, and has absorbed many words from Polish.

Ukrainian is spoken by over 30,000,000 in The Ukraine, and in; Russian, Armenia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, United States, Canada, Georgia, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrghyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Paraguay, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and in smaller numbers throughout many countries of the world.  It has over 40,000,000 speakers.
